Description

This module will introduce theories of psychopathology. The focus will be on considering the main models of psychopathology that underpin the use of psychological therapies. The teaching will introduce students to the disciplines of clinically applied psychology. The focus will be on common mental health difficulties such as depression and anxiety, but a variety of other clinical topics will also be considered. This module will show how psychological understanding of mental health difficulties can be used to inform clinical practice. The focus will be on evidence-based models of psychopathology.
